Happy Capitalistmas!

To cease the nagging of those who would love to buy me things (and more importantly to cease the receiving of crappy gifts), I've started a list of things that I wouldn't mind getting for xmas. They're sorted haphazardly into rough groups which should give you some sort of price range, an idea of how much I need or want the item, or how badly you need to suck up to me.

Stuff

Debian GNU/Linux Sticker

Debian is the operating system I run on all my computers. I'd love a nice sticker to slap on my laptop to proclaim it to the world. I'd also love a new laptop to go with the sticker...

$3

Red Meat Shirt or Book

No, not cow flesh, Red Meat the web comic. Twisted sense of humor which isn't for the weak of stomach. If you think I should read more, get me one of the books. If you think that I need a new wardrobe, get me a shirt (black preferred, bonus points for the glow-in-the-dark Glow-Skull of Mystery shirt).

$20 T-Shirt
$10 Book

Microwave Oven

Yup, I can't cook and microwaves are cheap. Really cheap. I thought I saw one for $35 in the Target flyer on black friday, but the cheapest I found online was the one below. Don't let me starve!

$40

DVDs

I like not having cable television, but I occasionally get the itch to watch a DVD or two. Here's a list of some titles I'd like, mostly comedy, sci-fi or music.

$15 - $25

Arc LED Flashlight

Sweet.

$15

The Illuminatus! Trilogy

Hey, look! I can read! This is Robert Anton Wilson's sci-fi conspiracy classic, and 800 pages, that's a bargain! More exclamation points!!

$13

Kitty Paraphernalia

Don't forget poor Fluffy Ruffles on Xmas! She likes stringy toys that she can chase, though I think she prefers shoelaces to anything that's supposed to be a toy. Hairball control Pounces and good old Meow Mix make her happy. A scratching post would make me happy.

$2 - $5

Yeah, Right.

iPod

I sure would be more productive if I could tote all my music around with me in a sexy and high-tech iPod. This would definitely get you some brownie points too. Check here to find refurbs for $100 less than brand new units.

$400

iBook G4 Laptop

If I had a G4 laptop, I could sell all my electronic music gear...think of how much more room I'd have in my apartment! I'll even settle for the cheap 12" version to save you money (you cheapskate, you).

$1100

MiniMoog

Sweeeet.

(I'd settle for the coffee mug if you're on a budget)
